Promotion Announcement : Captain Anthony LiMandri

The Town of Boonton Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of Anthony LiMandri to the rank of Captain.
Captain LiMandri began his service with the Boonton Police Department in 2010 after starting his law enforcement career with the Morris County Sheriff's Office.

Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the community he serves.
As a patrol officer, fi****ms instructor, Special Response Team leader, and three-time Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Award recipient, Captain LiMandri established himself as a proactive and dedicated public servant. His technical expertise, commitment to training, and willingness to take on any challenge have made him an invaluable member of our department.

Promoted to Sergeant in 2017 and Lieutenant in 2022, Captain LiMandri has successfully led officers through some of the most challenging periods in recent history, including the COVID-19 pandemic, severe weather emergencies, and public demonstrations. As second-in-command, he has overseen patrol operations, investigations, and administrative functions while ensuring the continued success of our agency.
Captain LiMandri's leadership, experience, and dedication to the profession have earned him the respect of his peers and the community alike. His promotion is a reflection of his hard work, character, and commitment to excellence.

Please join us in congratulating Captain Anthony LiMandri on this well-deserved promotion and wishing him continued success in his new role.
Congratulations, Captain LiMandri!

Congratulations to Officers Michael Mullane and Jonah Lance!

After graduating from the Morris County Public Safety Academy in November 2025 and successfully completing our department's 12-week Field Training and Evaluation Program, both officers have now earned their full certification as Municipal Police Officers.
Throughout their training and evaluation period, Officers Mullane and Lance demonstrated professionalism, initiative, strong work ethic, and a commitment to serving our community. They have proven themselves to be proactive officers, embracing community policing and bringing fresh ideas to strengthen the relationship between our department and the residents we serve.

We are especially appreciative of their dedication to our agency. While other opportunities arose during their training, both officers remained committed to our department and the community they chose to serve.

Please join us in congratulating Officers Mullane and Lance on this important milestone. We look forward to their continued growth and success as members of our police department.
