Heads up! The meeting for the South County Food Pantry originally scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday the 20th, has been RESCHEDULED due to the closure of the parking lot at Trinity Lutheran Church while their steeple is being installed.

The meeting has been rescheduled for December 11th at 1pm.

As the new school year begins, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible support we received during last year’s 9th Annual South County Golf Tournament.

Because of our wonderful tournament participants, $𝟕,𝟒𝟎𝟎 was raised - funds that went directly toward purchasing food to help feed children in 7 local schools, providing over 𝟑𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 breakfast, lunch and dinner meals throughout the school year. ❤️

Today kicks off BCT-The Community's Bank “Pack the ‘Pack” Program! Funds raised will benefit our Micah’s Backpack program right here in Washington County. Any amount helps!

Today kicks off our annual Pack the ’Pack campaign. This initiative supports local kids facing food insecurity. Every dollar raised helps fill backpacks with meals for weekends and summer breaks.

Today we received our last food delivery for the school year - thank you to all who volunteered at the MD Food Bank to prepare the orders.
A HUGE thank you to the Boonsboro High School National Honors Society, and several dedicated volunteers from our community, who helped un-load our individual delivery of 297 cases of food, weighing over 4,400 pounds in an impressive 18 minutes!!

We are deeply grateful to three incredible local organizations for hosting food drives in support of the South County Food Pantry and its Micah’s Backpack Program: Rockland Woods Elementary School RWE Cares For Our Community Food Drive, Mason Dixon District Pack 252 of the Shenandoah Area Council, and Mr. Christmas_Community Outreach

Thanks to your generosity, these donations will directly benefit families in our local community. Together, we’re making a difference!

Over 600 non-perishable food items were donated on Saturday to the South County Food Pantry and Micah's Backpack of South Wash. Co. from the Shenandoah Area Council Scouting For Food.
