Mountaineer Medics had a great time participating in Emergency Fest this weekend! 🚑 We loved teaching kids about the importance of calling 911, learning CPR basics, and staying safe in emergencies. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!

Our very own medic, Ella Bolz, spoke at the Appalachian State University Board of Trustees meeting about what it means to be an EMT, the work we do at Mountaineer Medics, and how we continue to grow while providing free, high-quality care to Appalachian State University students and faculty. 💛⛰️

Last Friday, some of our Mountaineer Medic seniors were recognized at the App State College of Arts & Sciences Senior Awards Ceremony. Please join us in congratulating these individuals honored by their departments:

Additionally, Avery Hodgson was recognized as part of the CAS Corps.

Our team has officially arrived back home after an incredible week with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

To wrap up the week, we had the opportunity to hear from several of their specialty units, learn more about their roles in the system, and observe the EOC while listening to live 999 calls. It was an amazing hands-on learning experience and such a unique opportunity for our team.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to teach us and share their knowledge throughout the week!

That wraps up our ride-alongs with on the Double Crewed Ambulance, Fast Response Unit, and with the Incident Response Officer. This experience has been nothing but great!

Thank you to all the providers who helped us and shared their knowledge with us. We’re excited to continue the rest of our week here in London! 🇬🇧
