INTRODUCTION
The Bonney Lake High School Choir forms a vital and important part of the total high school experience.This group represents a large, colorful, visible, and highly disciplined segment of the school groups. The main emphasis of the choir program is on musicianship and the pride of accomplishment, followed closely by citizenship, tradition, morale, spirit, and loyalty.It is the pride o
f a job well done and the accomplishments achieved that make the sacrifices worthwhile.It is possible, by setting your schedule in a reasonable manner, to have a highly successful choral career and still maintain high scholastic standing.The success of the organization will lead to the success of the individual and vice versa. The BLHS Choir program offers students an opportunity to perform and sing in concert performances at school and various other venues.Students are encouraged to explore their creativity through the aesthetic communication of various styles of choral music. Amy Fuller is the choral director at Bonney Lake HS in the Sumner School District. in Choral Music Education from Central Washington University, where she also assisted and accompanied the Kittitas Valley Children's Chorus for 4 years.She also holds a M.Ed. in Integrated Teaching through the Arts from Lesley University. Fuller regularly judges large group and solo/ensemble contests throughout the state and sings with the Tacoma Symphony Chorus. Fuller was awarded the Most Outstanding Young Choral Educator of the Year in Washington State by the American Choral Director's Association. She is currently the President for the Valley Region WMEA and the NW ACDA Women's Honor Choir Chair. Amy enjoys teaching private voice and piano lessons to local students in her "spare" time. She is an accomplished pianist as well as a fine singer, and toured Europe as accompanist with the Washington Ambassadors of Music Chorus the summer of 2016.
