On Friday, we celebrated our students' growth and accomplishments with our first annual VFE Growth Parade! It was a fun-filled school-wide event recognizing the hard work and progress students have made throughout the year.
Congratulations to all of our students! We would also like to thank our families, district staff, and community representatives who joined us in support. Your encouragement helped make this celebration extra special.

Hard work deserves to be celebrated! 🎉 Our WIN small group students have shown tremendous growth this year, so our paraeducators teamed up to throw a fun end-of-year party. With games, treats, and plenty of smiles, we celebrated their effort, progress, and success. We are so proud of all they have accomplished!🌟

Our little Falcons have spent the last two months building their biking skills in PE through the All Kids Bike program, and their growth has been amazing! We are so proud of the many students who learned to ride a bike for the very first time!

Along the way, they also practiced important rules of the road and safe biking habits. Their perseverance, determination, and courage were incredible to watch.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this experience possible, our PTO for supporting this wonderful program, and a big thank you to Mrs. Burhenn our amazing PE teacher!!! 🚲️💙

The Victor Falls community enjoyed another fun and successful Art & Music Night!
A BIG thank you to our PTO, Art Docents, talented student artists and musicians, dedicated volunteers, and of course Mr. Payne along with the VFE Modern Band and Choir for making the evening so special.
We loved seeing so many students and families come together to celebrate creativity, music, and community. We also sincerely appreciate the support from our district employees who attended and helped make this event such a memorable success!

Victor Falls Volunteer Spotlight-

We asked Yana to tell us what volunteering her time at VFE means to her, and here's what she shared:
Volunteering means a lot to me because it gives me a chance to connect with the kids and be part of their world. I really enjoy playing with them, helping them learn, and seeing their excitement and growth. It’s rewarding to support not just my own children, but all the kids, and to be part of such a positive and caring community.

VFE students participated in the Long Live the Kings “Survive the Sound” salmon run this month, choosing from 60 salmon to predict which would survive the journey from local rivers through Puget Sound to the Pacific. Only 12 made it, making it especially exciting for those who picked correctly. As part of the experience, students also took part in a salmon-themed obstacle course, practicing teamwork, navigating a salmon ladder, and simulating ocean survival. The activities were a hit, and VFE looks forward to doing it again next year.

Kindergarten Screening is happening this week! If you haven’t scheduled your child’s screening yet, please contact our front office as soon as possible, we can’t wait to meet you!

We didn’t forget about the 5th grade team! 🎉Let’s hear it for these fabulous educators who guide our oldest leaders as they prepare for middle school, building independence, confidence, and hearing plenty of “bruh” along the way 😄
