Hurricane season is here and preparedness matters.💙In partnership with FPL we will distribute hurricane preparedness meal kits to seniors in our community. Together we're helping to ensure they have three days of shelf-stable food, water and snacks when it matters most.

🚨 Holmes County Fire Rescue Smoke Detector Program 🚨

Holmes County Fire Rescue is proud to partner with Lowe's to help keep our community safe by providing FREE smoke detectors to Holmes County residents in need.

If you need a smoke detector for your home, please contact Holmes County Fire Rescue at 850-547-4421 to sign up. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis limit one per household.

🔥 Chief Jeff McVay will personally come to your home and install the smoke detector at no cost to ensure it is properly placed and functioning.

Smoke detectors save lives by providing an early warning in the event of a fire. Don't wait until it's too late—take advantage of this opportunity to help protect your family and your home.

On June 24th we will be distributing the self stable hurricane meals provided by FPL from 10:30-12:00. This is for our Seniors in Holmes County and will be by first come first serve. Pick up will be at 701 E. Pennsylvania Ave Bonifay Fl.. We are thankful for FPL for this annual contribution.

Our NCBA Volunteer Eula Clark, used to attend school at Bayview Elementary School and High School back in the day...(.This is where our offices are temporally located)...She said only the boys were allowed to raise and lower the flag back then so she was very happy to help raise our new flags Tammy Manning donated.
Such a big smile on her face today ..
