25 years later, we still remember.

We remember the lives lost.
The heroes who ran toward danger.
The families who never got to say goodbye.

And we remember what came after.

A nation grieving together.
Neighbors helping neighbors.
Americans standing united.

For Bonifay Police Chief Johnny Whitaker, rodeos have been a part of his life for decades.

He started riding and competing as a kid and continued into adulthood.
