After Midnight Radio Chatter
NEVER NEVER for get what was done to America on this day for ever known as 911.
I can remember well where I was when I got news of the attack on America. Myself on my boat and Sonny Knowles on the shrimp boat Crimson Tide was headed to Bayou La Batre and Landrys shipyard. Both of us was on our respective boats by our selfs. All was good until we reached Mobile Ship Channel. We were crossing the channel on to Dauphin island Bridge when
I got the news on my TV. Could not believe it. I called Sonny on the radio and told him. At this time he had a serious leak in his boat he had to tend to and we were wanting to get on across the bay on to the Bayou. I suggested that I put a tow line on him and tow him while he worked on his leak. We went on to the Bridge and he got it under control. I will never forget exactly where I was that day and the situation we had going on. The Muslim invasion in this country has gotten to extreme out of control. Our elected seen not to have any intrest. I personally believe that our grandchildren will have to deal seriously with this if not sooner. Pardon me if you don't like my stance or political views but I stand by what I believe. I pray God will keep America free and Christains will stand firm and pray for America's freedom.

Its to hot to be working on the boat but we are trying to get stay wire shackles replaced. The other picture is an after 5 o'clock project. Adding a deck on my shipping container kitchen I am working on.

The below deck refrigerated holding area after cleaning and adding new carpet and clean pallets to stack our next catch on. Planning to start back next week. We are open 9 to 5 Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. We are at 5695 heritage drive Bon Secour Alabama 251 949 6255. We take cash or good checks. Holiday weekend cooking is just ahead. Shrimp should be on the menu. Come see us.

After Midnight Radio Chatter
This time of year always reminds me of my trips to Grand Isle Louisiana for white shrimp season opening. We would leave with the boat going that way and Lily, my wife and four kids would meet us there in a couple days. This one particular year I left a little ahead of the other boats that were going. I got to Rattlesnake Bayou that afternoon and wanted to stretch our nets out to do some adjusting. We made a short tow and picked up to adjust the bibs. Wow looks like we are in the hot spot, shrimp. I set back over for another short tow kind of waiting for my buddies to catch up. Let's see, there was Capt Sonny , Crimson Tide, capt Buddy on the Linda B. Capt Donald on Classy Lady, capt Caroll on the Lady D. We traveled in a Hurd like cows grazing. So we did well enough on the two short tows that I really didn't want to go any farther but my family was scheduled to meet me at the island that evening. We got there and got all of their stuff put away. I always love listening to the Cajuns talking as did Lily. We loaded up and drove to a Walmart in Golden Medows. We walked all through the store and absorbed some of that great accent for a while then went back to Grand Isle to the boat. The next day we headed west for the opening the next day. We worked 3 days and went back to Grand Isle and unloaded our catch and got Lily and kids headed back home in that ford mini van that Lily didn't like but it could haul our family just fine. Not any excitement but a fun time before school started . I always liked sh*****ng in Louisiana but I seriously doubt that I will ever get down there again.
