The Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad 12' 6" bridge on Scenic Byway State Route 212 West of Bolivar, Ohio is the site of many accidents! This page was created to update the community on accidents, hopefully, as they occur, and also, to suggest some common sense solutions toward safer passage on this 90 degree corner. reenville Treaty Line, Old Western Union telegraph poles, Road Runner fiber optic cable and Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad bridge! Did you know that the Greenville Peace Treaty was the 1st Peace Treaty authorized by President George Washington and the US Congress? We decided during the 2013 construction of the Bolivar Aqueduct McDonnell Towpath Trailhead to also include the Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail & The Buckeye Trail since both trail systems run under our beloved bridge bridge.
