Yesterday, WRAP (Women’s Resource and R**e Assistance Program) hosted a Proclamation event at the Municipal Center to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month. October is dedicated to raising awareness of domestic violence, and throughout the 19 counties WRAP serves across West Tennessee, advocates organize events to bring communities together — including law enforcement, mayors, and judges.

The City of Bolivar is in the process of reopening the Blossom Lane Park. We are seeking public input on adding basketball courts and other amenities to the park, and we want to hear from you! The public forum is scheduled in conjunction with our normal city council meeting on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2025, AT 6:OO PM.
