Boise City Council will not meet the week of Memorial Day in observance of the holiday. City of Boise managed cemeteries will be open Memorial Day weekend. More information may be found at https://www.cityofboise.org/departments/parks-and-recreation/memorial-day/
City Council will return June 6th for a regular evening meeting.

Boise's proposed Modern Zoning Code (zoning code rewrite) will go before City Council the week of June 12:

Monday, June 12: Presentation from staff and neighborhood associations (4-9PM)
Tuesday, June 13: Public testimony (2-6PM)
Wednesday, June 14: Public testimony (4-9PM)
Thursday, June 15: Q&A, rebuttal, deliberations, decision (4-9PM)

There will be no City Council meeting this week as the Planning and Zoning Commission will be holding hearings on the proposed Modern Zoning Code April 24-27.

After the P&Z hearings there will be an additional public comment period before the the zoning code is heard by Boise City Council in June. You can learn more about the proposed code and public testimony opportunities at https://www.cityofboise.org/zoning-code-rewrite

Welcome Council Members Latonia Haney Keith and Colin Nash. Council Member Haney Keith will represent District 3 and Council Member Nash is at large, in seat 5. Both were appointed by the Mayor and confirmed today by a unanimous vote of City Council to serve the remainder of their respective terms.
