KBOI Radio host Nate Shelman interviewed representatives of the Treasure Valley Partnership on his show yesterday afternoon. The discussion with Canyon County Commissioner Zach Brooks, Star Mayor Trevor A. Chadwick, and Nampa Mayor Rick Hogaboam focused on the impacts of rapid population growth in the Treasure Valley and the challenges local governments face in funding the infrastructure and public services needed under current state policy.

(2.3.26) Nate Shelman was joined by three members of the Treasure Valley Partnership. Nampa Mayor Hogaboam, Star Mayor Chadwick, and Canyon County Commissioner Brooks discussed growth in the Treasure Valley.

The Treasure Valley Partnership's first-ever Town Hall exemplified what collaborative regional leadership should look like — respectful dialogue, meaningful questions, and a shared commitment to supporting the TVP priority of promoting good tax policy, public safety, and infrastructure. Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation.

While some of our mayor and county commissioner partners were unable to attend, TVP plans to host more town halls to continue discussing shared community challenges and possible solutions for the Treasure Valley. Stay tuned!

We hope to see you there!
