Applications are OPEN for the 2027 STEM Next Flight Crew!
STEM Next is looking for youth ages 13–18 who have participated in afterschool, summer or other out-of-school STEM programs and are ready to share their STEM stories.
Selected teens will represent their states as part of a national cohort while building leadership and communication skills and championing the value of afterschool and summer STEM.

The Idaho Out-of-School Network celebrates the Idaho Attorney General’s litigation with Meta and settlement to support the well-being and healthy development of Idaho’s young people!

The Settlement Agreement outlines the terms of how these funds can be used, including support afterschool and summer learning opportunities. The Idaho Attorney General has directed these funds to the Idaho Legislature, who will then determine the exact use of funds.

As the statewide coordinator for Fund IRL Idaho, ION invites our organizational partners and afterschool champions to sign up to receive updates and information about the settlement and Fund IRL Idaho. Our goal is to help ensure Idaho kids engage in meaningful, in-real-life activities and opportunities that supports their mental health and well-being.

Light Up Idaho Kits are available for FREE to programs who register their Lights On Afterschool event on October 22nd! 💡 💡 💡 Kits included a paper circuits activity for 30 kids in 4th grade or higher.

Let’s spread some awareness about the magic of afterschool programs! Lights on Afterschool is a nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities.
