We are currently looking to fill a few positions for some resources we have added this year. Positions needed are:
ENGB- We need (1) experienced engine boss to run a type 4 Engine based out of Boise, ID. Must be able to operate the engine without assistance from management. The equipment is newer and in good shape. Must be able to manage crew and equipment efficiently and respectfully. Applicant must be mechanically inclined with the ability to maintain and repair his engine out on the line without oversight. Preferred ICT5 task book open or completed. Would love to see other task books opened.
FFT1- We need (1) sharp FFT1 with utmost respect for the chain of command to work under the engine boss. Must be diligently working on there own ENGB task book. Must have full copy of FFT1 Task Book with all signatures to apply.
Dozer Operator- Needs to have wild land fire experience. Needs to be capable of operating on there own without oversight. This includes:
-all communications with overhead including finance
- all repair and maintenance of machine while on fire
-ALL procedures in between dispatch and demobe
Please DO NOT apply if:
-Your on a roster for another contractor/agency/municipality
-You can not pass a drug test (Including Ma*****na)
-You can not go 14-21 days without alcohol
-You do not have proof of your certifications
-You have too many physical/health limitations
-You can not get along with 2 other guys for 14-21 days
-You have responsibilities that prohibit you from leaving home for several weeks at a time
-You are destructive to equipment
We will need 2 previous employment or trainer references before the hiring process will start. Fireco currently has a very respected and talented crew. We would love to add anyone who can meet that standard to our long term employment. Also need relief crew if anyone is interested in signing up for running two days at a time! Pay is hourly for FFT1 and daily for Dozer Operator and ENGB. Pay rate is depending on experience. Please contact me for more information.
