The new Grove Street Pathway connects Broadway Avenue to Grove Street and provides a critical connection for neighbors, employees and commuters to reach downtown and beyond. This kind of safe, ADA accessible pathway is a part of the city's larger vision for connectivity and our downtown maintenance team is proud to take care of this new route. Congratulations and thank you to all of the partners involved, including Capital City Development Corporation, Boise City Canal Company, Idaho Power, St. Luke's Health and more for completion of this project!

Investing in parks is investing in people 🌳We're proud of our new top 15 listing in the latest Trust for Public Land ParkScore ranking. It's based on how Boise compares nationally on five characteristics of an excellent park system: acreage, access, investment, amenities, and park space equity — and we're not done yet!

🌮🍦New this year, we launched an opportunity for mobile food vendors to sell in Boise's parks. Food vendors can purchase a daily permit for $27 to sell concessions at Fort Boise Park, Julia Davis Park, Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park, Molenaar Park and Veterans Memorial Park.

Only one vendor will be permitted at each location each day. Permits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and vendors must provide their vending license and insurance.
