DMBSU holds that Democracy Matters, and as such, the sovereign people ought to control elections, rather than those individuals who possess large sums of money. DMBSU is the Boise State University chapter of Democracy Matters.
Democracy Matters at Boise State University is a non-partisan, student based organization dedicated toward
1) cultivating a campus-wide, grassroots activist network;
2) fostering a community of politically minded individuals;
3) educating community members about efficacy in determining public policy; and
4) establishing meaningful election campaign finance reform at the local, state, and national levels. We believe that the Will of the People ought to be held above the Will of the Dollar Bill. Private-public cartels characterize the political regime at all levels of American politics. We're about working out, and fighting for, YOUR goals.
