KPDH Audition information and requirements ✨✨✨✨
AUDITION INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Audition Date: November 23, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: Hub365 In Boise, ID
915 N Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83713
Performance Date: March 14-16th at Bordertown Comic Con in Ontario, OR
Audition Requirements
Participants under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian permission. Parents must be present during auditions.
🐯Girls are permitted to audition for Saja Boy roles
🐯All auditionees must sign in at the front table before entering the audition room.
🐯You may audition for multiple characters but must specify your top choice at check-in (do not include which group you’d prefer, we will decide this)
🐯Everyone must wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for movement.
Auditions will include:
🐯A brief character read (lines provided at the audition).
🐯A 30 Second dance segment of your choice (doesn’t have to be from KPDH unless you want) [Don’t worry if you can’t dance well or if the routine is very simple, we will have a choreographer and some roles don’t require dancing we just want to see where you’re at]
🐯A 30-60 second monologue of your choice you may read from a paper or phone, but you must be in character
🐯Note: You will not have to sing for this performance, so we will not require a singing presentation at this time. You must be willing to purchase your own costumes for the performance, we will inform you which costumes you need when cast.
**If you are interested in a role and are unable to attend on this date due to schedule conflicts, please send a video audition by 8pm on November 22nd to [email protected] and include your legal name, your preferred name if you have one, your age, email address, and phone number. If you’re under 18 you must have a parent give consent in the video.
Include: Introduce yourself and tell us who you’re auditioning for—starting with your primary interest
🐯If you’re under 18 you must have a parent give their vocal consent to your audition before proceeding
🐯1-2 page character read (have a reader)
30 second dance segment
🐯30-60 second monologue you may read from a paper or phone but you must be in character
🐯Rules & Expectations
Please arrive ON TIME auditions will be first come first serve.
🐯Respect fellow performers, staff, and volunteers. Disruptive behavior will result in removal from the audition.
🐯This is a cosplay theatre experience — characterization, energy, and team spirit are highly valued. If you’re nervous, don’t be afraid to tell us, just come ready to do your best!
🐯Roles may be ensemble or featured depending on casting needs, every participant will be offered a role.
If cast, performers must agree to:
🐯Sign contracts and agree to a background check
🐯Attend mandatory rehearsals.
🐯Follow costume guidelines.
🐯Maintain professionalism at rehearsals, conventions and events.
🐯Help promote the show on social media
🐯What to Bring
A water bottle and snacks if needed.
🐯A notebook and pen
🐯The song you plan to dance to with the time in the song it starts.
🐯Comfortable clothing and shoes.
🐯A short (30–60 sec) monologue to showcase your skills.
🐯A calendar or device to record rehearsal and show dates.
🐯If under 18: Parent/guardian signature on permission form (provided at check-in)
🐯No headshots or resume required but will be accepted for consideration. All levels of experience are welcome.
Additional Notes
🐯Final casting decisions will be given the day of or the following day.
🐯Rehearsals will begin shortly after casting. Attendance is mandatory. If there are scheduling conflicts you’re aware of please inform us at rehearsals. We will not schedule rehearsals on holidays.
🐯Clean up after yourself before leaving auditions for the evening.
