Heads up, Pierce! 🚧

Construction is underway on the Quartz Creek Bridge as crews complete repairs to strengthen the structure and extend its service life.

Years of water runoff damaged portions of the bridge and began corroding the steel inside. This summer, crews will replace two damaged support girders and install a new concrete bridge barrier before the damage becomes a bigger issue.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing vehicles through the work zone. Travelers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes during construction.

**UPDATE** A secondary crash in the area has reduced the interstate to a single lane, all traffic is being detoured near Kasota.

US-12 is currently blocked near Gifford Reubens Road at milepost 27 near Lenore due to a crash.

I-15 drivers, this one’s for you! 🫵

Southbound I-15 traffic will shift between the Northgate and Fort Hall interchanges (exits 73 & 80) next week. This shift will allow crews to work on the new southbound lanes.

You can expect:
• Southbound I-15 traffic will shift onto the new lanes built in the median starting the night of Sunday, May 31.
• The southbound on-ramp at the Fort Hall Interchange (Exit 80) and southbound off-ramp at the Northgate Interchange (Exit 73) will close for approximately two weeks beginning the night of May 31.
• Fort Hall Interchange users will detour to the South Blackfoot Interchange (Exit 89).
• Northgate Interchange users will take I-86 to the Chubbuck Interchange (Exit 61) and then to New Day Parkway as a detour. 📍
