"You don't dump the milk and walk away; you step up!" This lesson from when I was six years old sticks with me to this day. It is how I have spent the last 20+ years helping Idahoans with disabilities live safely in their own homes.

The services that have made this work possible, bringing relief and dignity to families statewide, have been gutted by politicians in Boise. And when hundreds of us spoke up? We were met with silence. Ignored.

Now, I'm stepping up. I'm running for Idaho House, Seat 25A (Twin Falls, ID). I am ready to bring some change to Boise and be the staunch, experienced voice our most vulnerable neighbors need in the statehouse.

High-quality public education. Affordable healthcare. Lower costs for Idaho families. Sen. James Ruchti, Nate Roberts, and Mary Shea have their priorities straight, and they’re ready to deliver for District 29 at the Statehouse.

Idaho Democrats asked for the data in March. We’re still waiting. If the state is spending $50 million a year on private school vouchers, Idaho taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going.

Nate said it best: Idaho Democrats are ready to work.
Sen. James Ruchti, former Rep. Nate Roberts, and Mary Shea know what’s at stake for Pocatello and for Idaho. They’re ready to listen, lead, and fight for the communities they call home. Let’s get to work, District 29!

As wildfire risk grows, Idaho homeowners’ insurance rates have too. Last session, Idaho Democrats sponsored the Wildfire Insurance Transparency Act, bipartisan legislation that would give homeowners more transparency around wildfire risk, rates, and mitigation discounts. Unfortunately, members of the majority party voted it down. We remain committed to policies that reduce risk, lower costs, and protect homeowners.

For years, Idaho’s tax policy has favored the wealthiest, reducing the revenue available to invest in our communities. This year, Republican leaders responded to budget pressures by cutting funding for services Idaho families and communities rely on. When the Legislature cuts funding, those costs don’t disappear. Idahoans still pay them. They show up through higher tuition and fees for students, fewer resources for roads and infrastructure, and greater pressure on families already struggling with healthcare and everyday expenses.

“The Idaho Legislature shouldn’t rob Peter to pay Paul.” - Rep. Steve Berch

Career Technical Education (CTE) programs are already stretched thin. Idaho needs to invest in the teachers, equipment, and training our students need, not shift limited funding from one need to another.

For nearly 25 years, Nancy Gregory has worked to make Idaho’s schools better because she believes strong schools build strong communities. Now, she’s ready to bring that commitment to the Statehouse.
Nancy’s passion led her from being a PTO (parent-teacher organization) volunteer to serving as Boise School Board chair and president of the Idaho School Boards Association. She recently received a distinguished service award for the lasting impact she’s made in her community. Thank you, Nancy, for your many years of service to our public schools! 💙📚
