📚 April Classroom Wishlist is in the books!

This month, more than $15,000 was awarded to Idaho classrooms, helping fund projects that will make a real difference for students from Weippe to Boise, St. Anthony to Priest River.

From forestry tools that prepare students for careers in Idaho’s natural resources industry, to a safe outdoor play space for preschoolers with special needs, to livestock training equipment, classroom books, and even life-saving AEDs, these projects reflect the diverse needs of Idaho schools and communities.

Every project tells a story. Every grant helps remove a barrier. Every dollar helps create new opportunities for Idaho students.

That’s what Classroom Wishlist is all about.

Congratulations to our April recipients, and thank you to Idaho players for helping put more resources directly into Idaho classrooms. 💙🍎

I started thinking about what I'd do with $331 million (me, the social media guy) and things got out of hand pretty quickly...

🌭 220 million Costco hot dogs ($1.50 each)

🏍️ 26,480 brand new Yamaha YZ450F dirt bikes (at that point, Idaho becomes one giant motocross track)

🎢 Silverwood. Not tickets. The whole thing.

🥔 The giant potato that dropped on New Year's Eve in 1997 (my birth year). I have no idea where it is, but with $331 million, I'm tracking it down.

🚤 A wake boat. Not because I know how to drive one, but because I think they look cool.

🌮 Enough tacos to solve most of my problems.

Then I'd probably do something responsible.

Came for their daughter’s wedding…left with $50,000 💰❤️

A North Idaho couple was already in town celebrating love when one Friday Night Poker Scratch ticket turned the trip into something they’ll never forget.

“I turned over to her, checked it a few times, and just froze while she looked at me funny.”

Now, the winnings will help with wedding expenses, future family plans, and a few dreams they hadn’t planned on chasing quite this soon.

🚨 WINNER ALERT 🚨

For over 10 years, Michael and Donna have played Idaho Lottery games together every Sunday and Monday. 🎉

Michael is usually the Lotto America player in the relationship, but this time he decided to join in on Donna’s favorite game, Idaho Cash.

The funny part? Michael is always pranking Donna and telling her they hit the jackpot…when they actually never did. 😂

So when the two were out walking their dogs and checking tickets, Donna didn’t believe him this time either.

“I was in shock, waiting for him to turn around and say, ‘Psych…it’s only $3 bucks.’” ❤️

But this time…it was REAL. 💰

Their trip to claim the prize wasn’t exactly smooth sailing though. On the way to Boise, they broke down in Mountain Home before finally making it to the Winners Lobby to collect their winnings.

When asked what’s next, they said they MAY get a new car, but most importantly, they plan on giving back to their families. They also said they’re excited to keep playing together for years to come.

Michael and Donna also wanted to give a special shoutout to the team at Fast Stop in Franklin, Idaho, where they play every week.

“They always welcome us with a smile.” 👏
