Save the date: Friday, May 22nd | Foothills Heritage Park
🇺🇸 Our 2nd annual Spring Music Program will have an American theme with patriotic songs, American folksongs, and songs by American composers. This is the 250th anniversary of our nation and we would like to celebrate appropriately by paying homage to our forefathers as they sought to implement and model virtue and pride in its citizens through music, poetry, and rhetoric throughout its history.
👉 Please have students arrive 30 minutes before their performance in uniform and if possible (not required), some patriotic accessory such as red, white, or blue hair bows, ties, or headbands. Boys can wear red, white, or blue bow ties around their collared shirts. Hats are not allowed as an accessory.
🕟 The performance will last roughly from 6:30-8:30 with the youngest grades beginning first and finishing with 7th grade. The performance will not have an intermission. Parents and students are encouraged to stay for the entire performance, but if you need to leave, please do so during the transition of grades as they exit and enter the risers. The following is a rough estimate of each grade’s performance times. Once again, please make sure to have your students arrive 30 minutes before their performance.
🍕There will be food trucks provided at Heritage Park serving pizza and tacos, but please be sure to have students eat after they have performed for optimal singing performance and to avoid food stains on their uniforms during the performance.
🚗Overflow parking will be available at the school.
In case of rain cancellation, the event will be held on May 23rd at 6:30. Find additional details on our events page.
