CALLS FOR ARTISTS - Boise Airport Concourse A Mosaic Walls & Suspensions

Boise Airport is expanding and modernizing its infrastructure, including a new concourse and up to 10 new gates! ✈️ We invite YOU to be part of this transformation by applying for the first wave of public art opportunities.

✨Concourse A Glass Mosaic Walls✨
Artists and artists teams are invited to submit qualifications for a glass mosaic design. Up to 10 finalists may be selected and compensated $500 to submit concept proposals and interview with the selection panel. Up to two artists or artist teams may be selected and awarded $5,000 to implement their design concept.

✨Concourse A Suspension Installations✨
Artists and artists teams are invited to submit qualifications for two suspension installations at each end (East/West) of Concourse A. Each selected artist will be awarded a $350,000 contract to collaborate with project stakeholders and the community, then design, fabricate and transport the work to the airport for installation.

Travelers passing through the airport got a surprise treat from the Belong Co. Idaho ice cream cart as we celebrated the start of the season with sunshine, smiles and a little extra sweetness. Thanks to everyone who stopped by - summer is officially here!

We’re incredibly grateful to our amazing community for showing up and making the Boise Airport’s 100th anniversary celebration so special as we cut a ribbon on our brand-new historical exhibit! From longtime travelers to first-time visitors, your support, enthusiasm and pride made this day unforgettable.

Our exhibit is located in the airport food court and will be available through the end of the year. Watch this space for more opportunities to party with us throughout 2026!

💕We felt the love in the terminal earlier today 💕

In honor of Valentine’s Day, travelers were greeted with tail wags, nose boops, and plenty of smiles during Smooch a Pooch. The Go Team Therapy & Crisis Dogs - Idaho stopped by to spread a little extra comfort and joy, reminding everyone that sometimes the best Valentine has four legs and a wagging tail.🐾
