What an amazing celebration to be a part of as the Ada County Victim Services Center celebrated their 20th Anniversary yesterday. This has been an extraordinary resource in our community, providing hope and advocating for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. We are honored to play a small role in this incredible partnership.

Congratulations and great job to paramedics Sarah, Matt, and Jake, who recently passed their Phase 4 testing and are cleared to work as primary medics on any incident. After months of schooling and training, their hard work has paid off and we look forward to seeing what they can do. Congrats!

Way to go, Debbie! This morning, Ada County Commissioners recognized our own Debbie Page for 30 years of dedicated service. Debbie is our Education Coordinator, which means she plays a vital role in ensuring all of the Paramedics and EMTs in ACCESS are up to date on their licensure and continued education. She assists over 700 EMS providers here in Ada County! We are grateful for her continued service, and thankfully, she plans to hang around for a few more years!

On top of responding to calls for service, another important role for our medics is public education. On Saturday, EMS 20 and Medic 25 had the opportunity to participate in a Touch-a-Truck event at Veolia in Boise. We appreciated the chance to show folks our ambulance and answer any questions they might have.
