Good morning. I just wanted to say thank you and express my heartfelt appreciation for all of the volunteers donors, staff and followers of my campaign for Boise mayor.

It was a remarkable 8 1/2 month journey in which I met new people and also made new friends. I will never forget the commitment that hundreds of people made to my campaign.

When I called the mayor to congratulate her on her reelection, I reminded her “ a city for everyone” is still divided, and polarized in so many ways and she could remedy that by becoming a “Mayor for everyone”. Time will tell.

As for me, there are no regrets for being involved in this important political cause as you can see by the smiles in these family photos. I have already transitioned to that retirement mindset once again.

Everyone should make time in their busy schedules to create opportunities which bring them joy. Today, I took time this afternoon to attend the group honors ceremony at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. A ceremony for family, friends and veterans to honor their loved ones and colleagues who may not have had formal ceremonies because of weather, etc.

Rev Bill Roscoe served as Mc of this solemn event while an impressive group of veterans read the names of those who were buried, inured, or had their ashes scattered throughout the year.

A brief but rewarding respite from the campaign trail. So important to vote Mike masterson for Boise Mayor on Tuesday, Nov 7th.
