This week our crews did some hands on extrication training! Using some amazing tools and learning new techniques to accomplish a goal in emergency situations. Thank you to Carrols Towing & Recovery for supplying the vehicles for us!

Bogalusa Fire Department is proud to welcome firefighters Airhart and Latuso! Today two members of our department graduated from the Louisiana Fire and Emergency Training Academy. Firefighter Airhart is class 190s valedictorian having the highest GPA ever recorded at FETA! During their academy they learned the tools that will be required of them to serve our community. Please join us in congratulating them!

The burn ban has been lifted. Citizens are encouraged to exercise extreme caution if needing to burn outdoors and avoid burning in windy conditions.
