Thank you to the Cibolo Creek Community Church for coming by to visit and serve by helping with chores at the station. The kids did a great job washing the trucks 🚒 🚑 and got to spend time with the crews.

Yesterday we were excited to give a ride to a Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary School student. Her family was excited to be able to provide this ride to school. The class came out and met fire fighters. It was a great experience for the students and Bexar County ESD 4. We love spending time educating the students in fire safety and prevention! Thank you Mr. Guevara for helping to make this a special event for all.

Texas Division of Emergency Management is conducting a Public Warning System Statewide Drill on Thursday, April 2, 2026, between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
You may receive a text message on your phone, see alerts on local TV or radio, or hear sirens. This is only a test to ensure systems are ready for real emergencies.
If you hear or see an alert on April 2 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., no action is needed. It is just a drill.
In the event of a disaster or emergency, please monitor local news outlets and social media for updates.
The purpose of this drill is to ensure systems are ready for real emergencies. Although BCOEM is not sending out a LIVE ALERT on this day, an alert or multiple alerts may be received by other entities.

I’m fortunate to work alongside an outstanding team of firefighters and staff at Bexar County ESD No. 4. Every day, they continue to find ways to improve our District—whether through exceptional emergency response or taking pride in the appearance of our stations.

A special thank-you to Engineer Matthew Gregory for leading the Station 132 Beautification Project. Engineer Gregory, along with our firefighters, put in the hard work to grade the area and lay new sod, significantly enhancing the station’s appearance.

I’m incredibly proud of the teamwork, initiative, and dedication our members demonstrate in service to our District. Outstanding job by everyone involved!

Thank you to everyone that come to support us at our open house and Easter Egg hunt. Unfortunately the Air Evac Helicopter was unable to make it but a very special thank you to HEB for donating the food, the Dominion Rotary Club for cooking, and St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital for supporting us.

The turn out was more than we could have hoped for. It was amazing to see all the great kids enjoying the the trucks. We can’t wait for another event next year. For the kids that didn’t get any Easter Eggs, join us along with Commissioner Grant Moody at The Rock at La Cantera tomorrow from 12:00-3:00pm for another chance and have some more fun.
