Call script for Member of Congress on the Trump Administration freezing all federal aid

YOU: Hi, my name is [NAME]. I'm calling from [ZIP CODE].

YOU: I am calling on [HOUSE MEMBER/SENATOR] to speak out against President Trump's actions on Monday in freezing all federal aid. This is blatantly illegal; the Executive Branch can't unilaterally decide to ignore laws that were passed by Congress, especially when it comes to financial aid.

YOU: Member of Congress must take action, and clarify how they will stop the freeze and ensure that the millions who are directly impacted by financial aid will not be harmed.

Former Governor and U.S. Senator Bob Graham was a giant, greatest Floridian, and the best of the best. He was a role model for me and who inspired others to public office. “His legacy of service will endure forever.”

He gave me his personal and official congratulations when I adopted this great nation as United States of America Citizen
