This week Boardman Rotarian Mike Pasquale put together another in meeting service project, this one benefiting Boardman Schools. We packed 100 bags filled with healthy snacks. The snack bags will help support students at Boardman High School, Boardman Glenwood Junior High School, and Boardman Center Intermediate School.

Michele Jones from Down Syndrome Association of the Valley was our speaker this week. Since 2007, DSAV has been dedicated to serving individuals with Down Syndrome in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. The Regional Down Syndrome Center for Success, opened in June 2022 in Boardman, OH, provides a range of amenities to support the community, including therapeutic play areas, life skills classes, and communication development spaces. At DSAV, they prioritize inclusion and offer free membership to individuals with Down Syndrome, their families, educators, healthcare professionals, and advocates.
