Last nights aerial spray mission on 9-19-25 resulted in a 99.95% mortality overall in the mosquito population in our district. I will take that as a win.

Hello everyone,
North Morrow Vector Control District will be conducting an aerial spray mission tomorrow evening Friday September 19th starting at dusk to address the recent biting mosquito activity. We will be covering the whole district including the City of Irrigon and Boardman. The plane will not spray over the football game tomorrow in Irrigon. We will not spray over any organic crops. Please stay inside while we are spraying. The plane will be applying Naled at the rate of .75 oz per acre at a speed of 300 knots at 1,000 feet. Hello Boardman and Irrigon Communities,
We will be fogging with our ULV trucks tonight. Because we are dealing with a high density of biting Aedes mosquitoes our start time will be around 7:30 pm. Aedes mosquitoes are daytime or early evening biters and in order to control them we will have to start our adult mosquito spraying activities earlier than we normally do. We will be fogging in the city limits. When you see our amber flashing lights, please go inside your house until the fog passes (around 15 minutes). Also, we are receiving a high volume of spraying requests. I won’t be able to personally answer each one of you back. We log all of your requests and comments and appreciate them. Boardman area will be fogged tonight and Irrigon on Wednesday night.

Due to homecoming events on Wednesday in Boardman, we will be spraying Irrigon on 10/2 & Boardman on 10/3

Irrigon is being sprayed on Thursday 9/26 due to the homecoming game. Boardman will be sprayed on Friday 9/27. There will be no fogging tonight due to weather. A friendly reminder that we cannot spray if you're outside or have your windows open. Thank you everyone for your patience!
