🚒 DID YOU KNOW? 🚒

The Blytheville Fire Department is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, serving and protecting our community.
👨‍🚒 Our department operates on a 48-hours on / 96-hours off schedule and is made up of three shifts, with 8 personnel assigned to each shift.
While many people see us responding to emergencies, there is much more happening behind the scenes every day. Our firefighters spend countless hours:
✅ Training to sharpen lifesaving skills
✅ Maintaining our fire stations
✅ Inspecting and servicing fire apparatus and equipment
✅ Conducting annual business inspections throughout the City of Blytheville to identify fire hazards and improve public safety
✅ Teaching fire safety to children, adults, and senior citizens throughout our community
✅ Providing and installing smoke detectors to help keep families safe
✅ Distributing weather radios to help residents stay informed during severe weather events
✅ Working daily to improve our community's ISO rating, which can help homeowners and businesses receive lower insurance premiums
✅ Preparing for emergencies before they happen

The Manila Fire Department asks our community to keep one of our own, Firefighter Noah Holt, in your thoughts and prayers.

On Saturday, Noah was involved in a motorcycle accident and was flown to Regional One in Memphis for evaluation of possible serious facial injuries. At this time, Noah is in stable condition. He is very sore, bruised, and banged up, but he is awake, talking, and getting some much needed rest.

We are thankful for the care he is receiving and ask that you continue to pray for Noah as he begins the road to recovery.

Please also keep his family in your prayers during this time.

The Manila Fire Department stands with Noah and his family every step of the way.

One Team. One Fight.
