On Wednesday, your California Highway Patrol Blythe Area had the honor of taking a moment to assist and support the riders participating in Run For The Wall as they made their way across the country.
Every year, these riders travel thousands of miles to honor our nation’s veterans, remember those who never made it home, and raise awareness for POW/MIA service members. Their mission and dedication are something truly special.
The Blythe community once again showed what makes this town so special. American flags proudly waved throughout the community, and local supporters came together to help feed and welcome the riders on their journey east. Seeing our community rally behind such an important tradition is something we are incredibly proud to be a part of.
It is an absolute honor for us to play even a small role in helping these riders safely continue their mission. Thank you to everyone involved, and thank you to the riders for carrying on a tradition built on remembrance, respect, healing, and patriotism. 🇺🇸🏍️
