Fourteen years of remembering a true hero, a dedicated leader, and a brother-in-arms. The 1457th Engineer Battalion and the 118th Sapper Co. "Iron Sappers" proudly invite you to join us for the 14th Annual SFC James “DOC” Thode Memorial Ruck March.
SFC Thode lived by the standard of excellence always choosing to stay with his men, putting his Soldiers first, and giving his all. This August, we lace up our boots, strap on our packs, and ruck to ensure his legacy of service, sacrifice, and family is never forgotten.
Whether you are matching the "Warfighter" standard in a competitive division or joining us for the community fellowship, your presence matters.

Food Drive: We ask that everyone bring dry canned food to donate in SFC Thode’s behalf to support local families.
Fuel Up: Breakfast will be available for purchase on-site.
Event Shirts: Pre-order your official event shirt at registration! Limited quantities will also be available for purchase on the day of the event.
