“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” (Psalm 116:15)
With both sadness and great peace, we share that yesterday morning, our beloved Billie Jean Boling Watson went home to be with the Lord.
My grandmother was the definition of faithful service to Jesus. She spent her life generously loving others, and she leaves behind a legacy of generosity that thousands have experienced. For decades, she generously shared her possessions with visitors to Worley's Cave.
She will be profoundly missed by her family and all who knew her, but we rejoice in the promise that we will see her again.
“But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.” (Rom. 8:10–11)
