Exciting progress is happening in the park as our concrete team continues expanding the splash pad area and installing awnings just in time for a fantastic Fourth of July celebration as we honor America’s 250th!

As you enjoy the park, please help us keep it safe and beautiful. Slow down when driving through the park, watch for pedestrians, and do your part to keep the area clean. Our crews work hard every day to maintain these spaces for everyone to enjoy, but unfortunately vandalism continues to be an issue.

Thank you for helping us protect and preserve our community spaces. Together, we can keep Bluefield looking its best!

A big thank you to our Bluefield Beautification Committee for providing the beautiful America 250 flags now proudly displayed throughout our city, and to our Public Works team for hanging them with such care and pride.

While admiring the flags, we also took a moment to appreciate the gorgeous flowers provided by the Beautification Committee that add so much color and charm to our community.

Sometimes it’s important to simply stop, look around, and be thankful for the beauty that surrounds us and for the volunteers and employees who work so hard to make Bluefield shine. Thank you all for helping keep our city beautiful! 🇺🇸🌸🌺

Volunteer Spotlight: Jessica Cole

Another amazing example of what makes our community so special! ❤️⚾

A huge thank you to one of our wonderful local volunteers, Jessica Cole, who recently “adopted” Ridge Runner players for their stay in Bluefield. As a true community ambassador, she put together not one, but TWO thoughtful welcome baskets filled with goodies for two different players.

These small acts of kindness help make our visiting players feel right at home and show them the hospitality that Bluefield is known for. Thank you for investing your time, generosity, and heart into making their experience here memorable.
