CASEWV participated in International Overdose Awareness Day, hosted by Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center earlier this month.

Throughout the day, staff and residents engaged with community members, shared personal stories about how CASEWV has positively impacted their lives, and provided information about available resources and recovery support services. The event emphasized the vital role that community, connection, and encouragement play in the recovery journey.

🌺 ALOHA from CASEWV Commission on Aging! 🌴🌊

Today, we traded our everyday routine for a little island time and had a LUAU to remember! 🥥🍍🌺

There’s a Hawaiian saying, “A‘ohe pau ka ‘ike i ka hālau ho‘okahi” (Which means... all knowledge is not learned in just one school.). We think our seniors could teach us a thing or two about enjoying life! ❤️
