Our fatwood comes from conifers saturated with pitch so that they can be lit even when they're wet. We harvest locally, and our fatwood has a pleasant woodsy fragrance. Our family has lived in the McKenzie Valley since the 1930's, and we have a deep appreciation and love of this beautiful valley.
