BRE offers an engaging learning environment, high academic expectations, and various opportunities for student leadership and involvement. We have a strong sense of community that can be witnessed by visiting a campus, attending a local sporting event, or stopping by a local business.

The National School Lunch Program requires households to fill out a new application for free/reduced lunch every school year, including households that were approved last school year. These applications must be completed within the first 30 days of the new school year, or the benefits will expire. Benefits from the previous year will expire on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Students whose households have not renewed their application by September 24th will be required to pay for meals. We encourage you to check with the cafeteria on the status of your household and benefits as soon as possible. You may fill out an application online or submit a paper copy. The applications are available on the Blue Ridge ISD website, at www.bit.ly/LunchAppBRISD, or at your child's campus.

Grandparents Breakfast was one for the books!

We had the BEST time welcoming so many of our Tiger grandparents to BRE this morning! The cinnamon rolls were delicious, but we think we can all agree that the company was even better!

There is just something extra special about seeing our Tigers light up when their grandparents walk through our doors. Thank you to every grandparent who joined us and helped make this morning so memorable. We loved having you at BRE!

We are SO excited to welcome our grandparents to BRE this Thursday for our Grandparents Breakfast!

We are expecting a wonderful turnout and have coordinated with the Blue Ridge Rodeo Grounds to provide additional parking for our grandparents. We hope this helps make your morning with us a little easier!

A few quick reminders:

* Adult breakfast is $5
* Cash only— we are unable to accept card payments
* Please bring small bills if possible.
* Breakfast is from 7:30–8:30 AM

We can’t wait to fill BRE with grandparents, smiles, and lots of special memories! Thank you for being such an important part of our Tigers’ lives. We look forward to seeing you Thursday morning!

One of our favorite BRE traditions is almost here! Our Grandparents Breakfast is always a HUGE hit, and we are so excited to open our doors and welcome our Tigers and their grandparents for a special morning together. 📅 Thursday, September 3 ⏰ 7:30–8:30 a.m. 🥐 Please Register! 💚🐯 Our Very First BRE Blueprint Was SPECTACULAR! 🐯💚

What an incredible evening at Blue Ridge Elementary! We are so thankful to all of our families who came out for our very first BRE Blueprint and spent the evening learning, asking questions, connecting with teachers, and getting a closer look at what this school year will hold for their Tigers.

We truly believe that when families and schools work together, great things happen for kids, and tonight was such a wonderful example of that partnership.

Thank you for showing up, supporting our teachers, and trusting us with your children each and every day. We are so excited about the year ahead!

Together we learn. Together we grow. Together we Raise the Ridge! 💚🐯
