Friday Night Lights at Meridian!

The Hawks took care of business tonight, defeating CGB 66-14.

It was a HOT one at the field, but Hawk Nation still showed up to support our football team. A big thank you to our cheer team, HS Band, and Couch Club for bringing the energy and helping make it another great Friday night at Meridian. We appreciate you!

A great night for the Hawks and another one in the win column.

BASEBALL WEEK IN REVIEW

It has been a whirlwind of a week for Meridian Baseball. With the extreme heat, all of the games were pushed back to later start times, but the boys were still able to get all of their games in.

The team went 2-1 on the week, picking up wins over both Sullivan and AO.

Wednesday night was a special one as we celebrated our 8th graders on 8th Grade Night. We are proud of these boys and appreciate all the time and effort they have put into Meridian Baseball. Thank you for representing the Hawks.

The boys are now looking forward to their final stretch of regular-season play. Next week they will take on MF and Unity Christian.

8TH GRADE NIGHT TONIGHT!

Tonight, the Hawks are back in action as they take on Sullivan at 6:30 PM — and tonight is extra special because it’s 8th Grade Night!

We want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate our 8th graders for everything they have brought to Meridian Baseball. We are proud of these boys and excited to celebrate them tonight!

Lots of learning happening at MES!

Mrs. Gorden’s 3rd graders were busy practicing rounding to the nearest 10 and 100! Students used a “rounding roller coaster” to guide their thinking and then rotated through several hands-on learning stations. They worked in small groups getting specified instruction from Mrs. Gorden, practiced on IXL, completed independent work, and played a partner rounding game. Students even took turns being the “teacher” and explaining their thinking to a classmate! Students were actively engaged, working together, and gaining confidence in their own math skills while also helping others!

Hi everyone!

I’m Coach Stevens and I am so excited for the ‘26-‘27 cheer season at Meridian Middle School!
I have a schedule included of all our open gyms and tryouts. You only need to attend one tryout date (26 or 29).
