Dark Skies: Protecting the Night!

Come to the Whitpain Township Building for an informative program about light pollution and how we can reduce its impact on people, wildlife, and the environment.

What You’ll Learn:

How light pollution affects humans and the natural environment.

Simple ways to make your home lighting more dark-sky friendly.

The Five Principles to Protect the Night From Light Pollution, developed by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) and the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).

How thoughtful outdoor lighting can save energy and money, protect wildlife, and preserve our beautiful night skies.

Small changes to the way we light our homes and communities can make a big difference!

We’re Almost Moved Out of 650 Skippack Pike!

The countdown continues! We are almost finished packing up the Blue Bell Library.

It’s been a busy few weeks, and we’re making great progress getting everything ready for our temporary home!

Coming October 20: We’ll reopen at our temporary location at 960 C Harvest Drive, Blue Bell, PA.
