WVPL wants to clarify information about the upcoming closure and move to the temporary library, and how it affects hold requests.

In order to serve you better, we will be renovating the Main Library of the Wissahickon Valley Public Library. To continue services during the renovation, we will be moving to 960 Harvest Drive, Building C, Blue Bell in October.

This means that the Main Library will need to be closed October 1-19. We plan to reopen at the temporary location on October 20. Until we reopen, we need to suspend placing holds for pick up at the Blue Bell location. You can still place holds, you will just need to pick them up at our Ambler Branch, or other local libraries. You can continue to pick up holds that were placed before Aug 17, until the Oct. 1 closure. When you receive a hold notification, it will specify the pick up location. Feel free to call and ask any questions. Thank you!
