At the Ron Ramsey AG Center in Sullivan County the local FFA chapters, NRCS Staff and SWCD Staff had the Watauga District Land Judging event.
💙💛Unicoi FFA won first place for the FFA Section💛💙
💚💚4H Division was won by David Crockett. 💚💚
About 150 Students attended this event from across the region!
A great time was had by all! This year it was hosted by the Sullivan County SWCD, District Conservationist, Robbie Miles, Soil Conservationist, Tanner Blevins, Sullivan County Staff Mackenzie Garner, Tammy Matheson did a fantastic job coordinating and arranging the event. Thank you Soil Scientist, Nathan Hartgrove for attending, judging and educating about soil and the healthy components of land management.
A huge thank you to all the other NRCS and District Staff that helped make this even a fun filled day!
