Citizens Opposed to Bloomington's Radical Annexation Monroe Citizens Opposed to Bloomington’s Radical Annexation (COBRA) is a grassroots effort dedicated to defeating Bloomington’s Annexation plan.

Comprised of concerned citizens and business owners, Monroe COBRA will tell the stories of those impacted by this power grab. From higher taxes on backs of Monroe County families to the loss of choice in service providers, this annexation plan is wrought with injustice. We are proud of our community and believe in our future. However, using government coercion to force Monroe County residents into

the City of Bloomington at thousands of dollars per property matches values projected by the current administration in Washington D.C., not our values in Monroe County. Will you join us?
