We are thrilled to congratulate Laura and Logan Deck of The Seedlings on being selected as one of the 2026 Indiana State Fair Featured Farmers, presented by Corteva!

This is a tremendous honor. Each year, the Featured Farmers program shines a spotlight on just 15 farm families from across the entire state of Indiana who help tell the story of agriculture in our state. To have a Monroe County farm included among this select group is something truly worth celebrating.

For our 4-H community, this recognition is especially meaningful. Laura and Logan are both former 10-Year 4-H Members, and their story even began through 4-H. Today, they are living out a dream rooted in agriculture, hard work, creativity, and community connection.

Their journey is a great reminder that the skills, friendships, work ethic, and confidence built through 4-H can continue growing long after the final fair project is complete. Laura and Logan have taken those roots and built a farm that brings beauty, joy, and agricultural connection to Monroe County and beyond.

Please join us in celebrating The Seedlings at the Indiana State Fair on Tuesday, August 18. Stop by, meet this incredible Monroe County farm family, and help us show Laura and Logan how proud their 4-H community is.

Congratulations, Laura and Logan! Monroe County will be cheering you on. 🍀

JUST ANNOUNCED! Along with our partners at Corteva Agriscience, we are proud to unveil the highly anticipated 2026 Featured Farmers that will be honored at this year’s Indiana State Fair! In its 11th year, this popular program celebrates and helps put a face on Hoosier agriculture by connecting consumers with fellow Hoosiers who grow the food they eat.
