This is NOT the update we wanted to make.
Bryan Park Pool is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 29, 30, and 31 due to a mechanical issue. The pool is scheduled to re-open Monday, June 1; call the Splash & Skate Hotline at 812-349-3741 for updates.

Bryan Park Pool opens for the season today, Saturday, May 23. Time for the first swim of summer!

Bryan Park Pool is open daily from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Operating hours are subject to change.

Daily admission is $7 per person. Ages 4 and younger are admitted at no charge.

Before you head out, call the Splash & Skate Hotline at 812-349-3741 for updates on pool closures, delays, or schedule changes for Bryan Park Pool.

Bryan Park Pool opens for the season tomorrow, Saturday, May 23.

Weather has been tricky this week, so make sure to call the Splash & Skate Hotline at 812-349-3741 before you head out for updates on pool closures, delays, or schedule changes.

Bryan Park Pool is open daily from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Operating hours are subject to change.

Swim lessons are open for registration.

Help your child build confidence in the water this summer with Learn to Swim classes at Bloomington pools. Classes are available for a range of skill levels, from guardian and toddler lessons to stroke development and improvement.

Lessons are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Bryan Park Pool.

Available classes include:
Learn to Swim: Guardian and Toddler
Learn to Swim: Level 1
Learn to Swim: Level 2 Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Learn to Swim: Level 3 Stroke Development
Learn to Swim: Level 4 Stroke Improvement

Pool season starts soon, and pool admission fee waiver applications are available now.

Pool fee waivers are available for qualifying youth under age 18 who live within Bloomington city limits. They are also available for adults who are legally classified as a child for public benefit eligibility purposes.

Applicants must provide proof of Bloomington residency and proof of current enrollment in an eligible assistance program, including SNAP, WIC, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, Free or Reduced-Lunch Program, or the Adult Child Benefits Program.

One designated adult supervisor, age 18 or older, may enter the pool for free with a qualifying youth or qualifying adult.

Applications are available online and from Bloomington Parks and Recreation, 401 N. Morton St., Suite 250.

Current lists of pool fee waiver recipients are kept at each pool to record visits.

Pool season is almost here!

Bryan Park Pool and Mills Pool both open for the season on Saturday, May 23. That means the first swim of summer is right around the corner.

Both pools are open daily from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Operating hours are subject to change.

Daily admission is $7 per person. Ages 4 and younger are admitted at no charge.

Bryan Park Pool will also offer morning lap swim on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Admission for morning lap swim is $5 per person. Lap swimmers must pay regular admission if they stay once the pool opens at 11 a.m.

Pool reopens at 8 p.m., Movie starts at dusk, around 9 p.m. Runtime of movie is 1 hr, 50 minutes. Pool Admission costs $7 per person
