Sometimes it's NOT good to follow the crowd but other times it is. Home composting is a national movement to keep food waste out of landfills. Tire Amnesty Day was a success! The District collected 2,423 tires versus 1,815 in 2025. Thank you to all those who brought tires to us and a big thank you to District employees who organized and made this event successful. Remember, the District accepts a variety of tires for a minimal cost during the year at the South Walnut Recycling Center.
