🎬 Film Screening: SEEDS
📅 Saturday, September 27th | 7:00 PM
📍 IU Cinema
This Saturday, IU Cinema will be screening Seeds, a moving documentary that follows the everyday lives of three Black generational farmers. Through their stories, the film explores the legacy of Black land ownership in America, and the urgent fight to preserve it.
In 1910, Black farmers owned 16 million acres of land. Today, that number has dropped to a fraction. Seeds lays bare the cycles of inequity and systemic racism that have led to this decline and introduces us to a new generation working to reclaim their heritage, land, and future.
