It was a pleasure joining Governor JB Pritzker, Senator Dave Koehler, community leaders, and the workers of Rivian for the launch of the new R2 model!

This new car shows that our state’s commitment to manufacturing is working. These efforts have brought real results: good-paying jobs, growing our local economy, and putting Normal on the map as a center for the electric vehicle market.

Congratulations to my alma mater, Illinois Wesleyan University, for this historic news!

The Fisher Center for Interdisciplinary Quantum Science & Engineering is a groundbreaking change for higher education. This new center will allow students from various programs to come together and study what is a growing, important area of technology: quantum.

This program, made possible by the generosity of Alan and Ann Fisher, will help cement Illinois as the quantum leader of the United States.

I look forward to welcoming the students who call the 91st House District home as they learn and grow in this new, exciting learning space!
