Dear Friends:

I wanted to let you know personally that I have decided not to seek re-election to the DuPage County Board in 2026.

It has been a great honor for me to serve the past thirteen years as your DuPage County Board Member for District 1. During that time, we have dealt with issues big and small that have shaped our county. You supported me through four elections and four terms in office. I will be forever grateful to you for your friendship and support over these many years.

This decision was not an easy one. I have loved my time serving on the DuPage County Board working with high caliber people to make our communities better. Prior to joining the county board, I enjoyed serving as a Roselle Village Trustee and a Bloomingdale Township Trustee. Working collaboratively with people to find solutions to community issues is a big part of who I am.

After much reflection, I believe the time has come for me to turn the page to a new chapter in my life. I still have 18 months left in my term and I intend to spend every minute working for the residents of DuPage County.

Thank you again for your friendship over the years past and the years to come.

The Village of Roselle is celebrating its centennial in 2022. Mayor David Pileski, the village trustees, and the Roselle Arts & Culture Foundation unveiled a relief sculpture commemorating the founding of Roselle. As a former Roselle village trustee and long-time resident, I enjoyed seeing current and former village elected officials, staff, and residents on this great occasion. Happy 100th Birthday, Roselle!

Congratulations to the Village of Addison for winning both a Water Quality Flag and an Earth Flag for water quality and environmental initiatives. The village was recognized for hosting annual water quality events, using environmentally-friendly deicer, conducting outfall testing and training staff on water quality and quantity issues. In addition, the village installed permeable pavers, a wetland and native plants on its campus, which all improve water quality and help to reduce flooding.
