Farmers markets serve as essential hubs that connect local producers with consumers, foster community engagement, and promote access to fresh, healthy foods.
To help the hard-working farmers market managers and vendors, is offering a virtual training series designed to provide needed knowledge, peer connection, and support.
The program covers multiple aspects of farmers market operations including market regulations, food safety, liability, maintaining a stable market, food assistance programs, and conflict management. Each participant will receive a printed toolkit and engage through online discussions / homework.
The 4-session series will be held on Thursday evenings beginning March 12, via Zoom. The cost is $75 per person. Registration is available at https://cvent.me/xg5ewq
