A new Sewer Fee Calculator was introduced during last night’s Mayor’s Information Session on the Proposed Sewer Fee Collection Transition. Designed as a resident resource, the calculator provides an estimate of a household’s annual sewer fee under the proposal and compares that estimate to the sewer costs currently included in municipal taxes.

To use the calculator, simply enter your quarterly water usage and assessed property value. You can find this information on your mailed water bill or through the property and billing lookup link provided on the calculator page: tinyurl.com/SEWERCALCULATOR.

Thank you to everyone who attended in person or watched online, we appreciate your participation and hope the presentation helped answer your questions about the proposal.

If you missed the session or would like to revisit the information, the recording, presentation slides, and FAQ sheet are available at: tinyurl.com/MayorsInfoSessions.

Today, the Township of Bloomfield joins communities across the country in observing National Gun Violence Awareness Day and the national “Wear Orange” commemoration.
This day honors the lives of victims and survivors of gun violence and raises awareness about its continued and far-reaching impact on families and communities nationwide. The color orange is worn as a national symbol of remembrance and hope, inspired by the belief that every person deserves to live free from gun violence.
Residents are encouraged to wear orange today, June 5, in honor of the value of every human life and in solidarity with efforts to prevent gun violence.
At the May 18, 2026 Township Council Meeting, Mayor Jenny Mundell and the Bloomfield Town Council proclaimed Friday, June 5, 2026 as National Gun Violence Awareness Day in Bloomfield.
The Township of Bloomfield remains committed to supporting public safety initiatives and working toward safer, stronger communities for all.
