Thank You Thursday: Sponsor Spotlight

We are so grateful to all of those who have sponsored the Feed the Children Program hosted by Bloomfield First Baptist Church.

This week, we'd like to recognize the Bloomfield American Legion for their generous donation to the Feed the Kids Summer Program.

Their support is helping provide meals and resources to children in our community throughout the summer. We are grateful for their continued commitment to serving and strengthening Bloomfield.

Today we celebrate two incredible members of the Bloomfield School District family as they begin a well-earned retirement chapter.

Ty Summerville - Custodian
Thank you for the countless early mornings, late evenings, and hard work you have dedicated to our schools over the years. Your commitment helped create a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for our students and staff each day. The impact you made behind the scenes never went unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything you have done for Bloomfield Schools. Enjoy this next chapter, you have certainly earned it!

Jenny Medina - 2nd Grade Teacher
Thank you for the love, patience, and dedication you poured into your 2nd grade students throughout your career. You helped shape young minds, encouraged confidence, and created memories that students will carry with them for years to come. Your kindness and passion for teaching have left a lasting impact on so many families and colleagues. Bloomfield Schools is better because of you, and you will be greatly missed!

Please join us in congratulating Ty and Jenny on their retirements and thanking them for their years of service to our students, staff, and community!

Congratulations to recent graduate, Ally Walls for receiving an Indiana FFA license plate scholarship!

$25 from every FFA license plate sold through the BMV goes directly toward supporting FFA members like Ally through scholarships and opportunities that help shape tomorrow’s agricultural leaders. When it’s time to renew your plates, consider choosing the FFA plate and investing in the future of agriculture!
